Take a breath in and relax a moment by doing some Yoga. Originating from India this is a full spiritual, mental and physical workout. We promise you’ll leave this activity less stress than when you started. You’ll develop your strength and flexibility whilst focusing on breath control and relaxation at the same time.
Why is Yoga good for me?
Yoga isn’t just good for the body is it good for the mind. You’ll see improvements from the way you breath and walk but also in your focus and stress levels. With a massive following we’re sure you’ll make the friends on the way.
Best thing is you don’t need to be fit to start as you’ll see little improvements each time you do it.
How much will it cost me?
You should do Yoga in a set of classes that can be over a 4-8 week period. However, casual rates are also available between $15-$25 per class. There is also free classes that are available in parks around Auckland so keep an eye out for those!
What do I need to play?
- A Yoga mat – the non-slip surfaces helps to keep your hands and feet stable
- Free fitting clothing that allows for movement
- A clear head and some time to make the most of the workout
